Software for operators who win loads on speed, not spreadsheets

Freight margins are decided in the minutes between a request and a quote, and lost in the weeks between a delivery and an invoice. We build the quoting, dispatch and billing systems that close both gaps — our longest-running dedicated team lives in this industry.

Systems we build in logistics

The operational core of a freight business — built around your lanes, your rules and your partners. A representative list, not a boundary — if the system you need isn't on it, we build that too.

Quoting engines

Price complex multi-leg routes in minutes instead of hours — lane history, carrier rates, fuel surcharges and margin rules in one engine, with an audit trail for every quote that goes out.

Dispatch boards

One live board for planners: loads, drivers, capacity and exceptions in a single view — replacing the wall of spreadsheets and the phone-call relay that currently runs the day.

Carrier & TMS integrations

EDI, APIs and the awkward middle ground — we connect your platform to carriers, brokers and the TMS tools your partners insist on, so data is typed once and flows everywhere.

Invoicing that closes itself

POD in, invoice out. Rated against the agreed quote, checked against exceptions, pushed to accounting — humans only touch the invoices that genuinely need judgment.

Driver & fleet apps

Status updates, documents and PODs captured at the truck instead of reconstructed at the office — feeding dispatch and invoicing without a re-keying step.

Rate management

Contract rates, spot rates and surcharges maintained in one place with effective dates and approval flows — so quoting stops depending on whoever keeps the master sheet.

Where the money leaks

The patterns we find in almost every freight diagnosis — priced in hours and margin, before any build starts.

Quotes that take hours lose loads

When pricing a route means three spreadsheets and a phone call, the fastest competitor wins the load — and your best people spend their day doing arithmetic.

The spreadsheet layer eats margin

Rates in one file, capacity in another, the day's plan in a third. Every hand-off between them is re-typing, and every re-typing is an error waiting for an invoice dispute.

Invoicing lags delivery by weeks

Loads delivered but not billed are free credit you're extending. When invoicing depends on chasing PODs through inboxes, days-sales-outstanding quietly climbs.

Nobody sees the whole operation

Dispatch knows the trucks, sales knows the quotes, accounting knows the disputes — but no one system knows all three, so problems surface as month-end surprises.

How we approach a freight build

The same four phases as everything we do — diagnose, estimate, build, operate — applied to an operation that can't stop moving while we work.

See the full process
  1. 1
    Diagnose the operation

We sit with dispatchers, quoting staff and accounting — map the real workflow, count the hours, and find where money actually leaks. Free, 1–2 weeks.

  2. 2
    Estimate against a metric

Architecture, milestones, price — and the number the system will answer to: quote time, invoicing lag, loads per planner. The estimate holds.

  3. 3
    Build in weekly slices

Working software from week two — usually the quoting engine first, because it pays back fastest. Weekly demos, milestone billing, exit door at every step.

  4. 4
    Operate through the seasons

Freight has peaks. We ship monitoring and a 90-day warranty, then run the system on a retainer or hand it to your team — documented, either way.

Common questions

We already run a TMS. Why custom software?

Often you shouldn't replace it — and we'll say so in the diagnosis. Custom work usually earns its keep around a TMS: quoting, rate management and invoicing flows the packaged tool forces into spreadsheets. Where the TMS is the bottleneck itself, we modernise incrementally rather than rip it out.

Can you integrate with our carriers and partners?

Yes — EDI, modern APIs and everything in between. Integrations are scoped as their own milestones so you see each connection working before paying for it.

How fast can a quoting engine be live?

A focused first version typically ships within the first milestones of a build — our freight-platform engagement had quoting in production from week six. The full platform follows milestone by milestone.

Our data is a mess of spreadsheets. Is that a blocker?

It's the normal starting point. Part of the first milestone is turning the master sheets into structured data with an owner — the spreadsheets keep working until the system proves itself.

Which engagement model fits a logistics build?

Operators with a long roadmap take a dedicated team — our longest-running one lives in this industry. A bounded system, like a quoting engine alone, fits per-project.

Do you understand freight, or will we be teaching you?

We've shipped here — quoting, dispatch, carrier integrations, invoicing. You'll still teach us your lanes and your rules; that's week one of the diagnosis, not year one of the build.

Losing loads to slower quotes — or margin to faster chaos?

The diagnosis session is free, and a third of the time we advise against building.
